Day 35: Bumping Along
So we're bumping along pretty well. Little B is on a "lite" week for chemo, which makes a big difference. He's showing more interest in food, which is great. He is trying to figure out how to chew, which is both adorable and a little odd to try to talk through. He now wants a little bit of what everyone is eating on his plate at dinner. He tends to not actually eat anything, but does put a few things in his mouth, and then spits it out after a few minutes. Usually in G's or my hand. Regardless, it's all promising.
Big A is a great kid. His preschool year is winding down, and we are getting ready for a fun, fun, fun summer. He has been hoping for a sprinkler party for months now, but it has been so cold this spring that we've not really had a day warm enough for a party. Well, here's hoping that we get a warm day or two this summer so that he can finally get his elusive sprinkler party!
In big news, we are wrapping up rennovating our apartment for Mimi, Hea and Henry! Mimi and Hea put most all of it together, and have done just an incredible job making the space look amazing. In retrospect, we should have charged them more rent! (I'm kidding, I'm kidding!) Hopefully, they will enjoy living with us!
I'd like to figure out a way to say thank you to all of our awesome friends and family who have kept us together through the past almost-year now with Little B's medical journey -- the dinners, chats, understanding when we have to bail because of an ER trip, all of those things just mean the world to us!
