Sad Parting

I've been neglecting our blog lately because I hate to have to write this post. We lost a rather dear friend on March 30 -- Cayenne went to heaven. She was with me for 14 years -- and with Greg and I since we got together when I was in law school. It's very odd for us to not have her around. And I can not believe how much I have to sweep now that she's not doing kitchen duty. She had a grand 'ole life, though, and she will be missed.
