Great preliminary news
Many of you know that Little B had a routine MRI on Friday. Due to the wonders of modern technology (and the ability to see test results pretty much real-time online), we got the results tonight (Saturday). Long story short, there's no new growth, and everything is stable. That's great news, and basically means we stay the course.
The fun part of MRI week (lovingly called "scanxiety") is the general sense of foreboding/doom, the concerns about sedation and the potential that something wacky comes up. We also tend to tackle projects that have been languishing, just in case things go side-ways when we do get the results. In any case, this week G re-built a dresser, G did some weatherproofing, we reorganized the boys' closet, started renovating a different closet, and got the boys' holiday presents in order. Tomorrow, all we need to do is to clean up, and then pack for our week-long trip! We are heading to Westport for our second mini-vacation of the year! Hooray!
