November 18: Ear Infections = NO FUN!
Poor A. He has an ear infection and a slight cold. He's just fine during the day, but in the evening he really starts dragging. He also gets a cough in the middle of the night. We've got the antibiotics flowing, so hopefully it clears up soon.
We had parent-teacher conferences today. A is doing great, which is a relief. He's also really enjoying learning, which is my primary concern. We got "BOB" books in the mail today. They are simple books that use a limited number of letters to introduce kids to reading. For example, the first book (and they are short books, of course) has only four letters plus the word "on" -- a sight word. So the thought is that if A knows how to sound out the four letters, he can read all the words in the book. The next step is to find out if he likes them...
B continues to be a joy. He is sooo good at sitting up. He's now challenging himself to leaning over further and further (to see if he can recover). He's also a big, big fan of toys, graham crackers, and summer vegetables. Yippee! A kid who eats veggies! His two new teeth are also rather visible.
