January 18: Baby B's big day!
Today was a banner day for Baby B: fourth tooth is in and he's now fully mobile with a mean army-crawl. For friends on Facebook, we have some awesome video of the army-crawl in action on Facebook.
We had a lot of good fun that was funny today. A had preschool off today, due to the MLK holiday. We had a bit of a lazy morning (albeit an early one -- B woke me up at 5:30 am!), and then A had a play date with his friend Ni. She's such a great kid. B and I attended as well, just as back-up support. Ni's mom is wonderful, and we had a great time chatting. When we got home from our play date, we had lunch -- A did a super job and had a peanut butter and honey sandwich and some mini-butterfly pasta.
After lunch, we went for a big walk to celebrate the sunshine. We walked to the park and A played on the slides for a while. I'm amazed at how big he has gotten and how he's doing so much more now on the park equipment than he was even four months ago. We took the long way home, after which A was pretty tired. He laid down for a "kitty cat nap" and I tried to convince B for a nap as well. Sadly for my dreams of a "kitty cat nap" for myself, both A and B declined to actually go to sleep.
For dinner, I made a very lame dinner of gardenburgers and french fries. For A's "challenge" in eating, we had a variety of dipping sauces -- bbq sauce, mayo, and mustard. He tried all of them without even fussing. It was great. There was, of course, jello for dessert, but I really didn't have to bribe him with it.
After dinner, there was a big bath for both stinky Weebert boys. What a fun, cheerful day.
