January 4: The New Normal? (noon-edition)

Goodness! Baby B is a little pry monkey today! He won't stop shrieking (it's a new skill he's picked up) and refuses to sit by himself. I think he's missing Daddy and Big Brother A.

A was so funny this morning. I asked him to give me a kiss before leaving for school, and he responded, "Don't worry Mommy, I'll be home from work soon. And then we can have all sorts of fun!" All the while, he's patting my hand. I'm not even sure what to say about that!

Cayenne is also impossible. I finally banished her to the (covered) back porch. I wonder if G forgot to feed her this morning? I got a glass of water and she almost took off my foot looking for scraps! Silly dog.
