March 28: ... and mostly confused!

Wow. The Weebert boys can give their parents a run for their money! Today the boys were quite on edge. Baby B woke up at 5:20 am and wasn't interested in going back to sleep. A soon decided to join Baby B. G took pity on me (well, I woke him up) and I grabbed a bit of a nap.

After breakfast, we took a little jaunt to the zoo -- it was pretty chilly and a little drizzly. A wasn't impressed with the zoo today, as none of his friends came with us -- Mom and Dad were clearly not enough fun. And G even pulled out the crazy-flying-monster-routine (which is pretty impressive). Oh well, we tried.

A had a headache, so was pretty close to tears all day. Baby B was had a short nap in the morning, so he was also pretty much ready to go to war with us as well.

When we got home from the zoo, we had lunch (quickly) and A cuddled up on the couch. G and I tried to clean up the house, with questionable success. Hea brought her dog-dog over for a sleep-over (he gets a little scared by himself). G took A to band practice (much to A's delight), and I put B down for a little nap. The house was so quiet without A and G, and B sleeping, I went ahead and took a snooze.

I made quesadillas for dinner -- not gourmet, but quick and hearty. A also had pasta in crab shapes... yum. After dinner, we ushered the very dirty Weebert kids into a big bath. Baby B was hilarious. He was just going after A, trying to play and rough house with him. A just wanted to be a dolphin. Poor Baby B -- he just wants to be four. :-)
