September 12: Ridiculously Hot. Again.
Weeberts say: Bring on the rain! Bring on 65 degree days. Seriously. Global warming is B-A-D! And do are 95+ degree days in mid-September.
Today was a little fussy. A and I (with B in tow) went ahead and started working on A's "artwork". It was quite a good time. And just when did I become the mod podge queen? Quite embarrassing, I say! A did a great job working on our project, though. He's got good concentration, and a love for glue.
Mimi and Hea dropped off Chance for the day. He's such a good dog. He just follows B around and sits down beside him. It's pretty cute. The kid squawks, and he just looks at me, as if to say, "You gonna do something about that?" Mimi and Hea's buddy is getting married, and they are in the wedding, so will be gone until rather late.
G got a great ceiling fan for B's room, which he installed. It will be nice to not have to use an oscillating fan in that room anymore. A is just a little *too* interested in the oscillating fan for my comfort.
B did great at dinner tonight. He ate fully a half container of bananas and a good tablespoon or so of rice cereal. Unfortunately, it's so hot that I doubt he will sleep particularly well. Oh well, it will rain soon. Oh yes, it will.
Here's hoping for a little less heat. Tomorrow, we head to the zoo for the Predators of the Serengeti! Sooo excited! We've been watching them work on the exhibit for about a year now. Will be interested to see how A deals with seeing a REAL lion! For the past year, a cutout lion with motion detector (which roars when you walk past) has been terrorizing him. Let's see what he thinks of the real thing!
